Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) Policy

RMA Request Procedure

Customers must notify Besatechnologies within 10 days of delivery to initiate an RMA request. The following steps are required:

  1. Complete the RMA Request Form: The form must be fully completed and returned via email. The RMA Request Form is attached to this policy.
  2. Submit Required Documentation:
    • A detailed failure analysis or test report.
    • Photographs of the original packaging and merchandise.

    Besatechnologies will review the submission for completeness and accuracy before proceeding.

The RMA Request Form must include:

  • Customer Details
  • Product Information

Mandatory Return Requirements

  1. RMA Approval:

    Product returns are only accepted with a written RMA approval from Besatechnologies, following the submission of a fully completed RMA Request Form and all supporting documents.

  2. Packaging:
    • The RMA number must be clearly visible on the outside of the box.
    • Include a copy of the RMA approval form within the shipment.
    • Products, especially ESD and moisture-sensitive items, must be properly packaged according to the customer’s or manufacturer’s ESD packaging procedures (e.g., anti-static packaging).
  3. Shipping:
    • Customers are responsible for all shipping charges and related fees.
    • Ensure that the shipment arrives at Besatechnologies before the 10-day RMA expiration date.
  4. Labels:
    • Labels are permitted on products only if they do not come into contact with surface-mounted components or PCBs.
    • Boxes must be free from any foreign labels or markings.
  5. Testing:

    Besatechnologies reserves the right to re-test returned products.

  6. Modifications:
    • Besatechnologies will not accept any products that have been modified or altered in any way.
    • Products that have been misused, improperly stored, mishandled, or not stored according to ESD procedures will also be rejected.

Reception Process

Upon receipt, Besatechnologies will review the RMA Request Form to ensure compliance with the mandatory requirements. Returned products will undergo an inspection. If products are returned under false pretenses or do not conform to the RMA Policy, Besatechnologies will return the products to the customer freight collect or hold them at the customer’s expense.
